Why celebrate Parent’s Day?
Remember falling off your bicycle and skinning your knee? Baking cookies with mom? Dad teaching you how to play softball? Or having to call mom and dad at 1 a.m. asking them to come and get you on the side of the road because your car broke down? These are only a fraction of the reasons why we celebrate our parents on . Yes we all have our embarrassing moments, but we learned a valuable lesson from that moment. Funny part is we will remember them and share them with our kids when we get older.
Being a parent is one of the hardest jobs around. Parents should be considered the best jugglers of all times! Between soccer practices, piano lessons, baseball practice, swimming lessons and having dinner on the table by six. All this and still working 40 plus hours a week at their jobs.
The fourth Sunday in July has been set aside to honor both our parents. Similar to Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, it’s time to honor them together. They are some of the most important and influential people in the uprising of yesteryear’s youth, today’s young adults, and the continuing education we as adults sometimes take for granted.
Celebrate those hard working busy parents and show them that their sacrifices did not go unnoticed. Uplift and celebrate family. Whether they are your step-parents, grandparents, or adopted parents, let Candy Concepts Inc. help you celebrate parent’s day by connecting you to a few products that will create memories for years to come.
